This “Privacy Policy” regulates the processing of your personal data by the controller: Arco Information NV, with registered office at Oscar Van Kesbeeckstraat 1, Mechelen and registered with the K.B.O. under number BE 0449.888.671 (hereafter: “Arco Information”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it contains essential information on how your personal data are processed and which cookies are used. By providing your personal data on the website and by providing e-mail addresses on this website with personal data, you declare that you have read this Privacy Policy and also expressly agree to it, as well as to the processing itself.
ARTICLE 1 – GENERAL
- Arco Information complies with the “Act of 8 December 1992 on Privacy Protection in relation to the Processing of Personal Data”, as well as the anti-spam provisions of Book XII of the Economic Law Code regarding the “law of the electronic economy”.
- Through this Privacy Policy, Arco Information also complies with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
- The party responsible for processing your personal data is Arco Information. A declaration has been made to the Commission for the Protection of Privacy regarding the processing of your personal data
ARTICLE 2 – PERSONAL DATA
- Personal data that you communicate to us:
- Category 1: without registration: your IP address;
- Category 2: filling in forms without registration: all fields in the form, as well as your IP address;
- Category 3: when registering: all fields in the form, as well as your IP address and password;
- Category 4: via cookies.
- Arco Information may collect personal data in different ways:
- Through the use of cookies (see below);
- During your registration and use of the website;
- The website also uses cookies that collect some personal data. For provisions on the use of cookies, see Article 8.
ARTICLE 3 – PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
- General purposes:
Arco Information will use personal data collected from you exclusively for the following purposes:
- Category 1: maintaining and improving this website and including personal data in anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific individuals or companies cannot be ascertained, with the legal basis being Arco Information’s legitimate interests to continuously improve its website and services;
- Category 2: the management of your account on this website for the purpose of using our Arco Information website, with the legal basis being the performance of a contract requested by you, and, if indicated by you, also the sending of direct marketing, with the legal basis being your explicit, prior consent;

Arco Information will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of Arco Information disclosing your data to said third party, but you also acknowledge that this may not be technically or commercially feasible in all circumstances.
Arco Information will not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make your personal data commercially available to third parties except as described above or except with your prior consent.

Personal data will be kept and processed by us for a period necessary in function of the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual relationship between Arco Information and you.
ARTICLE 5 – YOUR RIGHTS
- Right of access and inspection:
You have the right to obtain knowledge of your personal data at any time, free of charge, as well as of the use we make of your personal data.
- Right of rectification, deletion and restriction:
You are free to communicate or not communicate your personal data to Arco Information. In addition, you always have the right to request us to correct, supplement or delete your personal data. You acknowledge that if you refuse communication or request deletion of personal data, certain services and products will not be available.
You may also request to restrict the processing of your personal data.
- Right of objection:
You also have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.
In addition, you always have the right to oppose the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such case, you do not have to provide reasons.
- Right of free data transfer:
You have the right to obtain and/or transfer to other controllers your personal data processed by us in structured, common and machine-readable form.
- Right to withdraw consent:
To the extent that the processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent.

- Automatic decisions and profiling:
The processing of your personal data does not include profiling, nor will you be subject to automated decisions by us.

This is without prejudice to any remedy before a civil court.
Should you suffer damage as a result of the processing of your personal data, you may file a claim for compensation.
ARTICLE 6 – SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
- We have developed security measures adapted at technical and organisational level to avoid the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorised access or erroneous notification to third parties of personal data collected as well as any other unauthorised processing of such data.
- Under no circumstances can Arco Information be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an erroneous or unlawful use by a third party of the personal data.
- You must at all times comply with the security regulations, including by preventing any unauthorised access to your login and code. You are therefore solely responsible for the use made from the website of your computer, IP address and of your identification data, as well as for their confidentiality.
ARTICLE 7 – ACCESS BY THIRD PARTIES
- In order to process your personal data, we grant access to your personal data to our employees.
- We guarantee a similar level of protection by making contractual obligations opposable to these employees and appointees, which are similar to this Privacy Policy.
